Burlesque Mini Series with Mama Serese

Welcome back to Sass N Strut Performance Series. The Burlesque Mini Series is lead by Director & Founder, Serese - affectionately referred to as Mama Serese. This is a 5 class series totaling up to 8 training hours, plus a live performance at our December 4th Showcase.

What’s the vibe?! Beyoncé meets Burlesque!!! We’re blending the classic and modern of burlesque together in this raw number bringing your Scorned Lover character to life. Get ready to learn how to find the balance between executing power moves with the art of milking it, while executing the art of striptease.

Throughout our 5 sessions you will be learning a full choreographed dance to Beyonce's "Don't Hurt Yourself" including formations and your stage entrance and exit. With each session we will be cleaning the choreography, molding your stage character, working through our formations and burlesque technique, and finalizing our costumes together.

Saturdays 1:00-2:30pm - 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, a final two hour 1:00-3:00pm session on 11/19, and a dress rehearsal on 12/3.
